In Circuits of the Sacred, Carlos Decena, Ph.D. examines transnational black Latinx Caribbean immigrant queer life and spirit.

Dr. Decena is Interim Director of the Institute for the Study of Global Racial Justice at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, Cross-Campus Institute Director of Undergraduate Intellectual Life and Associate Professor of Latino and Caribbean Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
