Azucena

Join us on Zoom on February 23rd for a fascinating discussion of AZUCENA by M. de Gracia Concepción, originally published in 1925, the first book by a Filipino poet to be published in the United States, and reissued in December by Persea Books.

Featuring Patrick Rosal, who wrote the foreword to the new edition of Azucena, and Emmanual David, scholar and descendent of Concepción, who wrote the edition's biographical introduction to the poet.
