Tasnim Seif

Tasnim is pursuing a major in Political Science alongside a minor in International and Global Studies, specializing in the Middle East and North Africa region—at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. As a proud Palestinian Muslim, she is deeply committed to advocating for justice and equality for underrepresented and oppressed communities. Growing up as a Palestinian in America, she was—and remains—displeased by the profound lack of representation and education pertaining to the Palestinian story, and feels compelled to pave the way for a more inclusive future in media and academic spaces. Tasnim’s identity has naturally shaped her life, where activism has become not merely a choice, but a necessity. In driving constant engagement in advocacy against oppressive and colonialist systems, Tasnim hopes to work towards dismantling structures of injustice and amplifying the voices of those who have been marginalized, both domestically and globally.
