Aaronae Everson is a freshman at Rutgers University-Newark who intends to major in Psychology and double minor in women’s studies and criminal justice. She plans to become a Forensic Psychologist in the future. In regards to racial justice her interest mainly lies in the role it plays in Healthcare. Being a black woman, she understands the disparities within the system and strives to be an advocate for other women who share the similar experiences. She has taken on leadership and advocacy roles such as parliamentarian for Student Government Association and dived in on an opportunity like RAJU to highlight complexities of racial injustice and explore solutions to achieve racial justice. Aaronae never shies away from helping her community and being a part of the greater change.
