The African American & Diaspora Interest Group and Professor Carter Mathes' graduate seminar "Black Futures" will host a book talk and discussion of Sarah Cervenak’s, Black Gathering: Art, Ecology, Ungiven Life (Duke 2021) https://www.dukeupress.edu/black-gathering on Monday, November 15th at 1-2:30 pm. The event will consist of a conversation and group discussion with Dr. Cervenak based on pre-circulated selections from the book (introduction and chapter 1).
